Q.Why Are The Tips Of My Palm Leaves Turning Brown?
The tips of the leaves on my date palm are turning brown, which I’ve read can be from too much water or not enough water. How do I tell which it is? I live in the Phoenix desert and we’ve had a very hot summer! Thanks!

It also can mean lack of humidity or lack of potassium. Since it's been hot, you probably didn't overwater.
One way to tell is to compare notes on how often you are watering with cultural information on the plant to see if you are watering too much or too little. Once they are established, they shouldn't need much water.
