leaves of my elephant ears cracking

Why are the leaves of my elephant ears cracking? Doesn’t look like they’ve been eaten on, but every leaf has cracks all through them.

This is a symptom of plant strength. Apply a standard liquid fertilizer weekly.

Follow the manufacturers directions.
