Q.Why Are The First Two Acorn Squash Yellow And All The Rest Are Green?
I planted three Acorn Squash plants and have 8 squash total from the plants. I had more but we got hit by an frost and the others died. Two of the squash are completely yellow, but other than that totally normal with hard skins, while all the rest are the typical green color. Why is this? I bought the seed packet at the store. Thank you for any answer you can give.

This is completely normal! There is a lot of genetic variation with the plants, so it will be likely that you will see a lot of color variation in your crop.
