Q.Why Are Some Of My Lime Tree’s Leaves A Blotchy Yellow.
I have a generally healthy Tahitian lime tree, which was transplanted from a pot into compost-rich soil a year or two ago and has thrived. However, just lately, although there is healthy fruit developing on the tree, numbers of leaves have developed patchy yellow blotchiness. I’m no plant expert, but I am unable to find any obvious pests on or under the leaves. I’d be most grateful for your advice. I have attached a photo of a representative abnormal leaf, together with another leaf from a nearby branch that looks normal.

Those black dots could be evidence of pest feeding such as a citrus mite. Try spraying with Neem oil. Here is more:
