Why Are Some Crepe Myrtles Full Of Flowers And Others Aren’t?

We bought this house 3 years ago and it’s our first experience with crepe myrtles. A few blocks over, there’s a beautiful one full of flowers in warm weather. Ours is maybe a third full. How can we make ours full of beautiful blooms? Certain fertilizer? It’s been pruned once by a gardener here in New Orleans. Thanks.
