Q.why is my zucchini only producing male blossoms?
I am growing them in buckets in sandy loam. The pH is about 6.5.

This is typical behavior for squash plants, especially early in the season. They will produce mostly male blossoms, which fall off. Give it some more time and the plants should begin putting out female blooms.
