Why are my warba potato leaves yellowing before flowering and dying?

I started to grow potatoes in bags and the leaves are turning yellow and the stems are dying. They haven’t flowered yet and I don’t know what I’m doing wrong. They have been growing for about 2 months and are only a foot high from the soil. How can I save them??

This is probably a calcium or magnesium deficiency. Grown in container, this is common for potatoes. Just use a handful DOLOMITIC LIME. This contains calcium and magnesium and will correct the issue. I would amend with compost also, since potatoes can feed quite vigorously.

Potato flowering is not important. It will not affect your crop, and will not grant you seeds in your area, since they won’t have long enough to form fully. Flowering will be of little concern.
