Q.why are my trees not producing leaves?

Zone not sure | rose.cifhs@localdial.com added on May 23, 2012 | Answered

One tree, with maple like leaves that turn red in autumn, has only produced leaves on its bottom branches. A nearby similar tree, which has yellow leaves in autumn, has no leaves at all except a few shrivelled looking leaves. Two nearby trees do not have leaves yet. A holly tree nearby died a couple of years ago.

Most likely with so many trees being affected, it is weather related. The flip-floppy temps in much of the country has greatly affected many plants and trees. Give them some more time and they should eventually leaf out. This article may offer some help as well: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/ornamental/trees/tgen/tree-leafing-problems.htm
