Why are my orchids growing roots and not flower stalks?it has been six months since my orchids bloomed and although healthy, they

have gone to produce multiple roots and not new flower stalks. I do not over-water and the location near a window is bright, indirect light. What’s up?

Did you cut back the existing stalks? Try cutting them back to just above the fourth node and they should flower again. Also, perhaps the plant is looking for more moisture. Try putting it on a dish of pebbles that is filled with water (but below the plant level).
