Why are my lemons turning brown?

What is causing the lemons on the tree to turn brown? My tree is about 5 yrs old. I have 2 Meyer trees. Only 1 is having this trouble.

These look to me like sunburned fruits. Check the following article’s section on environmental damage:

Alternaria disease is also a possibility. In this case you would see brown parts inside the fruit when you cut them open as well:
