Q.why are my jade plants leaves turning brown

Zone zone 6 | mulligand added on March 10, 2014 | Answered

My jade plants have a few leaves that turn brown, feel ‘chalky’ and fall off. What causes this and what can I do about it? Thank you!

It sounds like a fungus, likely powdery mildew. Treat the plant with a fungicide. That should clear it up. Also make sure that you do not let the leaves get wet when you water it. This can make the problem worse.
