Cherry tomato’s have black on top at stem of fruit.

This is common with Chocolate Cherry Tomatoes, and other "Chocolate" cultivars. It is possible that your seeds are from a cross-pollinated fruit! Otherwise, you can test for nutrient deficiencies.
