White Dogwood Tree

I planted a new dogwood tree, which gets direct sunlight in the afternoon. It has been planted for about 2 weeks. It has rained here for about 2 or 3 days for the past two weeks. My question is that the leaves are starting to look like they are burning. Almost a bright orange color. Is that normal or a problem? Should I move the tree to a different location? What should I do about it? I really wanted the tree in my front yard so everyone could see it, but I will move it to save it from dying.

first make sure there are no air pockets around the roots,it sounds like you are getting root rot from underground air allowing bacteria to affect your young tree

Your dogwood probably suffered some from transplant shock – be sure to keep it well watered to aid its recovery. Moving the tree at this time would not be advisable.
