I have a bird of paradise I have grown in my house for 19 yrs. It is about 3 stories high in a walkout Lower level. It has reached the top of the ceiling and I would like to know how to or even if I can trim the top of it. I have let the lower leaves grow back this time and have not trimmed them yet. Also is it possible to remove lower parts to establish new plants?
