White Bird of Paradise

I have 2 White Bird of Paradise plants that I had in my home. Some of the leaves would not open, so I placed both plants outside on my patio to get more sun. Before I placed the plants outside, some of the leaves were drooping, but now the leaves are not standing straight up, but they’re drooping over even more. When I purchased the plants, I didn’t repot them. Would that have anything to do with the leaves drooping? Thanks

Yolanda

Drooping of leaves could be due to watering issues. Make sure the soil is moist but never soggy. Soggy soil can cause Phytophthora Root Rot.
The container should be well draining to prevent this fungus.

Repotting does not need to be done very often. Bird Of Paradise prefer to be in a tight container.
