White bird of paradise

Our plant is doing very well, blooms, lots of leaves but has a very narrow trunk. Is something wrong? It looks like the trunk will bend in half

It is common that it needs to have soil added to top it off.This can help, or you can try adding potassium silicate, which you can find at most garden shop, or online. This can help strengthen up the stem drastically. Here is a link to more information on the plant:
