Q.Whipcord Tree In 94582 Zip Code

My husband and I love the tree, but are Concerned if we live in a climate that. The tree will flourish. Cool winters, no frost, and increasingly some 100° Days in the summer. The tree would get full sun. Thank you for your advice. We love the tree and want to use it as a statement tree in our front yard.

Your zone 9 may be too warm for the whipcord tree. It is hardy in zones 5 to 7 and prefers cool summers. But if you plant it in part shade rather than full sun, and keep it well irrigated through the summer, it may do fine. Here is more on its care:
