Q.Which type of palms can survive in zone 6 in PA? Temps sometimes fall to 5 F on occasion. I’ve heard windmill, pindo, and needle
palms do well? Thanks. Can they also spend the winter indoors and planted in early spring? We have a fig tree that does quite nicely outdoors all year long, but must be cut back in late fall.

There are, actually, quite a few options for you. You can choose to keep them in containers, or plant them outdoors, since they will be completely hardy in your area.
