which are the ideal plants to grow in coco peat?

I do not have much information about which plants are suited to grow in coco peat, hence I have planted a variety of plants on my balcony, such as raphis palm or lady palm, poinsettias, aloe vera, ficus, etc. Coco peat is used because it is light to move and rearrange the pots. Watering is easy and creates less mess compared to all soil medium. Some of my plants grow well and some are slow. Advise.

Because of the qualities you mention it may work well for some plants and not so well for others.

You will need to add something to help with nutrients for most plants.

Organic compost would be a good choice to amend the Coco peat with.
