Q.Where To Find Garden Calcium In Los Angeles
I have been trying to find calcium for my garden – other than human supplements – to fight the blossom end-rot on my tomatoes and squashes. I just checked Lowe’s and the staff member didn’t know what I was talking about. I found I could use egg shells, but they don’t work as quickly as I need. I read I could use limestone and/or gypsum. The gypsum I found had sulfur, which I do not believe is good for gardens.

We do not recommend certain places for purchase. I am really surprised your local Lowe's didn't know much, since they DO carry calcium products for your garden, usually.
The best, naturally occurring, source is Dolomitic lime. This contains calcium and magnesium, which work well together to condition the soil and replaced lost minerals.
There are other sources, as well, but this is my preferred source.
