Where on a Crepe Myrtle tree do you cut (prune), above or below the knot? Trees are real tall, 20 feet. Where is the best place to cut for better new growth?

On any grafted tree, you should always prune above the knot. This article will help you with the rest of the pruning: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/ornamental/trees/crepe-myrtle/pruning-crepe-myrtle-trees.htm [1]
