Q.Where Is The Best Position In The Garden To Grow Potatoes? On The East Side Or Middle Of The Garden?
Planting green beans, peas, potatoes, tomatoes, squash, lettuce, beets, onions, bell peppers, eggplants, asparagus. What is the best arrangement for planting? I usually start out planting from east to west. Starting with taller plants down to smaller ones. This year I am thinking about starting out with planting pole beans, peas, potatoes, then tomatoes. What do you think? Live in OHIO.

Generally, you want to start with your taller plants on the north side, and shorter on the south for the most even light distribution. With multiple solanaceous plants, though, you will need to watch their vicinity to each other.
