Where Do You Cut The Broccoli Off

Where exactly are you supposed to cut the broccoli plant when havesting, and what is the best way to store fresh broccoli before eating?

You can cut it a few inches below the crown. It is best to store it in a cool, more dry place, like the vegetable drawer in your fridge.
