Q.Where Can I Get Spikes For My Hillside Gardening Shoes?
I have two steep slopes, one that gets lots of summer sunlight and one that gets shade most of the year. I am aging, but still able to get onto the slopes to weed, plant, and maintain existing plants. However, I find that I am more cautious than when I was younger. I have looked online for cleats to attach to my gardening shoes, but they are made for aerating lawns and don’t appear to have long enough cleats to provide stability on a slope. I’ve seen tree climbers’ strap-on cleats, but they have only two prongs for the back of the shoe. Can you help me locate strap-on cleats that will be good for when I get back onto my slopes?

We can't recommend where to get anything or brands, unfortunately. I can say that you may have some luck with traction snow grips. Many online stores will sell them.
