Q.When to Replant Tulips

Anonymous added on April 26, 2011 | Answered

I live in Zone 5 and have just dug up mega tulip and daffodil bulbs. They had to be dug up, as the land is going to be all dug up in June. When should these be replanted? Can I dry them and plant them in the fall, or must I plant them now? I certainly don’t want them to go to waste.

If they still have green leaves, I would replant them now. After the green leaves are gone, you can dig them up (if you still want to) to dry them out and replant them in the fall.
