Q.When to Plant Outside This Year in Zone 7?

brandymotes added on March 4, 2011 | Answered

I’ve always been told don’t plant till after Easter to be safe. But this year the vernal equinox falls a month before Easter cause Easter falls at the end of April this year. When do I plant?

As long as you wait to put plants out after the middle of April, you should be okay (though I normally wait till at least the first of May). Here in Zone 7, our weather tends to be eratic.
