Q.When to Plant a Climbing Rose
I am a rookie gardener having just got the bug. I intend to plant a climbing rose in a large planter and train the rose along the open space of my garage wall. What is the best time of the year to plant? The wall is southwest facing.

I tell customers that you can plant from a container any time, if, you take care of the plant. But, never, sever from the earth while leaves are on deciduous trees.
