One site says no fertilizer after Oct – Nov. Another says to fertilize when it starts flowering. Mine is starting to flower. . . what do I do?

Fertilize when there is evidence of new growth. For instance, if it is beginning to bloom, then it is the time to apply a liquid fertilizer with a 1-1-1 ratio (such as 10-10-10). During periods of active growth, you can fertilizer about every two weeks with a houseplant fertilizer. But keep the watering to a minimum, allowing the top inch to dry completely.
