When to collect esperanza seed pods

Live jacksonville fl. Esperanza blooms september for some weird reason. Pods are still green in november. blooms fewer and smaller. Optimum time to cut dry & save seeds?

The best time to take seeds will be once the pod a dried on its own and split. This will be when seeds are at peak maturity. Taking them before this point will decrease germination rates, but can still be done.

Just make sure to watch the pods closely, and catch them as they start to die off, but before they open.
