When To Begin Sowing Vegetable Seeds Indoors For Summer Transplanting?

I’m a brand new gardener and I just finished planting my first ever vegetable garden (yay!). I’m now looking ahead to next summer and trying to create a planting schedule for next summer. I live in Zone 9b. Please see my questions below. Q1) What summer vegetables in Zone 9b do best when transplanted in early summer? Q2) When is the best time to sow the seeds of those vegetables indoors so that they will be ready to transplant by next summer?
