Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comI have green tomatoes. I live in Illinois and the nights are getting cool. Hardly any red ones, is it best to harvest them now, and will they turn ripe? I never had such a bad year as all the people I know have the same problem. Any info that you have I would appreciate.

Yes, you can harvest them now and they will still ripen indoors. I had to do this with many of mine this year as well. This article will help: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/edible/vegetables/tomato/how-to-turn-green-tomatoes-red-how-to-store-tomatoes-in-the-fall.htm [1]
