Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comMy sweetcorns have been growing for around 2 and a half months now, and I’m just wondering, when will the actual sweetcorn cob begin to appear, and what is the average amount of time a sweetcorn plant will take to produce a cob? Also, my cabbages have been growing for around 2 and a half months now and there is no sign of any cabbage on them either. How long should they take, on an average, to start growing the actual cabbage?
Thanks!

Without your growing zone or climate conditions, it would be difficult to give you an estimate. The plants can take up to a couple months to produce tassels, or silk. Perhaps you planted them too early; the soil should be at least 55 degrees or warmer. https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/edible/vegetables/corn/grow-sweet-corn.htm [1]
With the cabbage, without knowing the variety you've planted, it would be difficult to speculate. It can take up to 3 months to see a head form. https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/edible/vegetables/cabbage/cabbage-head-formation.htm [2]
