Q.Best Time of Year to Plant Monkey Grass
When is the best time to plant monkey grass and is this a plant that requires shade or sun? I’ve just had monkey grass planted and some of the plants have turned brown after just a week in the ground. I was told not to water too much and now since some have turned brown, I am told to water more and that there may be too much sunshine and not any shade. Please advise.

Anytime from spring until midsummer if fine for planting monkey grass. Yours is most likely in shock. Sometimes pruning them back will help alleviate transplant shock.
