Q.When Do You Prune Roses In Florida?

Not sure when to cut back plants .the leaves look like something is making holes in them Do I need to water them more frequently? Appreciate any advise

In Florida, roses should be pruned when azaleas are blooming or from mid February to early March. The holes in rose leaves means a pest is eating them, such as caterpillars, Japanese beetles, rose slug, or leafcutter bees. These articles should help:
