When do rubber trees go dormant in an indoor setting in Nebraska?

Trying to care of a tree that was given to me. It’s an indoor plant for me.

They are dormant in the winter time (even though they are kept indoors). Their growth will slow and they will need a little less water. During the dormant season, it may only need to be watered once or twice a month. If the leaves begin to droop, but not fall off, increase the water you give the rubber tree hous plant gradually until the leaves perk back up again.
