thinning orange tree fruit

When do I thin young orange tree fruit and how many shall I leave? We have clusters of many tiny oranges. I am sure the young tree cannot support them all, but I don’t know when to thin and how many to leave. Right now each fruit is about 1-2 cm. Last year, the tree produced 4 fine oranges.

Thanks for any guidance.
