Q.When Cut Lettuce Bolt

Trying to figure Out when or if you cut lettuce bolt off. If you cut it before gets very long will that save lettuce from getting bitter? What do you with bolt and are seeds in bolt ok to plant

No, the bolting process is a symptom, not the cause of bitterness. The only thing that you can do is plant when temperatures are cooler, and will remain that way.
