Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comI have many strawberry plants in plastic pots or window boxes. I wintered them in my unheated garage, but I was wondering when I should move them back outside. I live in northern NY (zone 4 or 5). We have been getting 50 and 60 degree days so I thought about putting them outside, but I wasn’t sure if the nightly frost wold hurt them, or if they are hardy enough for that.

Yes, you can put them outdoors. If you are concerned about frost, you can cover the plants with straw mulch for added protection.
