When and with what do I fertilize zoysia grass lawn?

I live in Annapolis, MD, have sandy soil and have an established zoysia front lawn. Looks great from June until cold weather starts. I have only ever fed the lawn with corn gluten in early spring. Looking for suggestions on best time of year to fertilize and apply weed control and best products to use.
