Q.What\’s Wrong With This Pothos?
I\’ve had this pothos hanging by my window for around 2 months now and in those 2 months, I\’ve consistently taken it down to bottom water it when the soil is completely dry then hang it back up again. Its home is basically hanging by the window. I noticed a leaf yellowing a few days ago(like 2 days ago) but chalked it up to older leaves dying off but decided to check today I noticed these marks and some yellowing in the leaves that was not there before. Every time I take it off my curtain rod I wipe its leaves and do a check on all of them the last time I did this around a week ago everything was completely fine. I have no idea what these marks could be, the soil is still pretty moist so I don\’t think it\’s underwatering and It\’s only today these marks have appeared. Could it be a disease or some sort of pest damage? I haven\’t noticed anything similar on any of my other plants and I have another pothos hanging up there with it that is fine and healthy. Any ideas? I don\’t fertilize very often I\’ve only fertilized it probably 2 in the past two months. I have a north or northeast window. It has pushed out a lot of new growth since I moved it up the window.

That looks and sounds (from your description) like fertilizer burn! I might feed mine a light mix once every year. They do best in poor soils, and with quite a bit of neglect. All of my plants that like to be neglected sit outside of my tent (active growing area) and somewhere that I forget about quite often. This includes forgetting to water it much of the time! It really is forgiving of all but overfeeding and overwatering.
