Q.What’s wrong with my Lemony Lace Elderberry

Zone Zone 5 | SandyJ1967 added on July 4, 2018 | Answered

My 2 lemony lace were planted in summer 2017. They’re growing but the whole plant has areas where the leave tips are browning and eventually consuming the whole leaf. It then turns crisp and crumbles. Am I under watering? I’ve checked the stems and see no bore holes. Please help.

It, actually, looks more like symptoms of fungal infections. This is typical of overwatering. You can try a mix of wettable sulfur and dolomitic lime. This can help in most cases, but if it is too severe you may have to result to copper fungicides.
