Q.What’s wrong with my eggplant leaves?

Zone Puerto Rico | mayraaserrano@gmail.com added on September 8, 2014 | Answered

They are showing tan, not yellow, kind of streaks. What can it be? It is a very young plant, maybe 10 or 12 inches tall.

Many plant diseases are described as yellowing, although the color can be open to interpretation. If the streaks are truly more light brown or tan, and you don't see any spotting or scabbing or lesions, the leaves could possibly be getting sunburned.
