Q.What’s Eating Sunflowers
When I plant my sunflowers, many times squirrels dig them up. However, this year ones that did start to grow are getting cut off about 1/2″ above the ground. Do squirrels eat them also or could it be birds? The part of the plant missing is gone completely. Nothing is there at all. Thanks.

There are actually a few pests that like to nibble on sunflowers, especially young ones. Here is an article that you may find helpful: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/ornamental/flowers/sunflower/sunflower-problems.htm
