Q.What will grow around Black Walnut trees?

Trying to grow Hydrangeas and they keep dying. What do I need to know? And yes, I have a lot of Black Walnut trees in my yard.

Black walnuts are poisonous to most plants, so it is possible that the soil near the tree and surrounding area has some toxicity which may be affecting your hydrangeas. You may need to consider moving your hydrangeas further away if possible or grow them in raised beds or containers.
