What Were The Original Wild Edible Fruit And Vegetables Of UK

Question

I believe our bodies have not been given sufficient time to adapt to our current diets. I would like to try foods that originated from my ancestral home. If the original has been altered to something more commercial, I would like to know what that is as well. I’m not wanting foods originating in other continents that were introduced back in 1500s etc. Thank you for considering my question. I understand if it isn’t of interest.
