What type of vegetables are suited for rainy seasons?

These veggies should all do fairly well: cowpeas, cucumber, eggplant, jack bean, Malabar spinach, mustard greens, okra, squash/pumpkin, sweet potato, sweet corn. (tomatoes are ok in warmer climes)

Your only real issue would be keeping powdery mildew to a minimum and since pollination can be limited with lots of rain, hand pollination be occasionally be needed.
