Q.What Type of Squash Do I Have in My Garden

Anonymous added on August 18, 2012 | Answered

I have about 6 squash in my garden that are light yellow, not summer squash, and they have a rounded bottom and narrow at the top like a summer squash. I am thinking that they are butternut. When do I harvest them? They seem to be too light in color as opposed to the grocery stores. The biggest one is about 10 inches long. Any help will be appreciated. I thought that I bought zuchinni plants, but these are definitely not zuchinni.
