What Type Of Moss Is This And How Do I Treat It?

Hi, have had this strange moss I’ve never seen before suddenly appear in one small area of my lawn. I’ve tried to find out what it is and how best to remove it. Can you help, thanks.

It looks to be part of the genus Sagina. These are hard to ID, though.

Getting rid of it will mean taking away the conditions (mostly the constant moisture) that it needs to thrive.
