What type of fig tree do I have?

I have been given this fig tree but they couldn’t tell me what variety it was. Can you tell me what it is? Also, I plan to remove it from its container and plant it in the ground. Can you advise me on how I should prune it (in December, of course!)? As you can see, it is slightly over-grown.

I’m sorry, we would not be able to determine the cultivator or variety of your fig.
