What Tree/shrubs/bushes Will Tolerate Black Walnut Trees?

Question

Just brought a property that has a few black walnut trees in the back. I have room to add additional trees/shrubs or bushes. I heard however not everything is tolerant of the black walnut roots and what not. I’m looking for recommendations.
